Anita Steegmans is a translator who holds a higher degree. She began her career in the commercial sector, specifically purchasing. Ten years ago she switched to education and training. She has worked for Stichting Lodewijk de Raet for several years as an educational officer. In 2006 she joined Keerpunt vzw as a trainer and careers counsellor, primarily focused on first line management and staff on the shopfloor.

In September 2008, Keerpunt vzw became part of the Acerta group, where it forms part of BCT Coaching & Training.
